#AHT: Polysomnography training in American Hospital Tbilisi

On May 19-21, polysomnography technician’s training was held in American Hospital Tbilisi.

The training was conducted by Mr. Erdem Ezin, a specialist in sleep disorders, polysomnographyc technologist of Baskent University Ankara Hospital together with Dr. Nino Gzirishvili, Head of Epilepsy and Sleep Disorders Department at American Hospital Tbilisi.

The training included the following topics: preparation of the selected patient for sleep research – placement of polysomnography research accessories on the body (EEG, EMG, ECG, Thorax’s, Abdominal, SpO2, Airflow, Body Position Sensors). Analysis and diagnosis of sleep research. Also, treatment of obstructive sleep apnea.
