Diseases: Benign breast diseases are the result of basic hormonal imbalance. These diseases are:

• Nodular fibroadenomatosis (nodular mastopathy):

• Breast cancer

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women (every tenth woman.)

If breast cancer is detected at an early stage, more than 95% of women with breast cancer live at least 5 years.

Despite improvements in diagnosis and treatment methods, breast cancer is the leading cause of death among women aged 35-55.

Diagnosis:

• determination of the level of hormones (prolactin, sex and thyroid hormones) in the blood;
• Cytological examination of the discharge for the presence of discharge from the hole.

• • Breast MRI with contrast increases the sensitivity to 75% compared to mammography (32%).
  • Biopsy: four types: aspiration, COR biopsy, incisional biopsy, excisional biopsy.

For the purpose of prevention, you should have a consultation at least once a year above the age of 25, and from the age of 40 it is recommended to be examined twice a year. In addition, consult a mammologist if you have any of the following symptoms:

• Enlargement of lymph nodes and chest pain;
• Discoloration of nipples, change in shape and contour;
• Spread of sores on the chest;
• breast skin change;
• Discharge from the nipple.
