Dermatovenerologist with 30 years of experience, Soso Kobakhidze joined AHT with his young team. His prescriptions never contain needless drugs and examinations, which, unfortunately, is common in Georgia. He has been using telemedicine to help patients not only in a pandemic.
He believes that medical innovations of the world should be implemented Immediately in Georgia. He regularly participates in Georgian and world Dermatovenerologists’ conferences as a participant and co-chairman of sessions. In 2020 in Portugal, he chaired the 3rd International Congress of Lisbon. Soso Kobakhidze is an official expert at the Ministry of Health of Georgia. He is the head of the Tbilisi Association of Dermatovenerologists, a member of the Board of International Union Against Sexually Transmitted Infections (IUSTI). Since 2021, he has been the representative of Georgia at the European Academy of Dermatovenerologist (EADV). Soso Kobakhidze is also the co-founder and vice-president of the Pediatric Dermato-Venereology Association. He is the author of several Publications and co-author of European textbooks.
