Pediatric Colorectal and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgeon of Children’s National Hospital (Washington DC, USA) Prof. Dr. Marc Levitt with his team, Colorectal Team Overseas (CTO) members and volunteers at American Hospital Tbilisi!
On January 16, within the framework of the visit, the conference “Corolectal and reconstructive surgery in modern Mecidin” was held by Prof. Marc Levitt and the head of the AHT Pediatric Surgery Department, Dr. Irakli Davitaia.
The well-known American professor and his team members, together with their Georgian colleagues, also conducted surgeries in AHT, which the participants of the conference followed through live broadcast.
“Last year, I had pleasure to be invited by Dr. Marc Levitt, to the USA for a one-month visit. The current CTO visit to the American Hospital Tbilisi was planned within the framework of our cooperation with the National Children’s Hospital of Washington, and will have a more active character in the future,” noted Dr. Irakli Davitaia.
