On September 16-17, the Heart Failure Forum was organized by the Georgian Heart Failure Association and the Head of the AHT Cardiac department, Dr. Zviad Kipiani at the Radisson Hotel. The conference hosted distinguished speakers from different countries of the world, namely, USA, Great Britain, United Arab Emirates and Lebanon.
Heart Failure Forum was opened by Mandeep R. Mehra, and Dr. Zviad Kipiani. Mandeep R. Mehra came to the conference from Boston, he is The William Harvey Distinguished Chair as well as a professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) and Dr. Zviad Kipiani MD.Ph.D.MSc ,F.E.S.C.Head of Cardiology Department American Hospital Tbilisi and the President of Georgian Heart Failure Association.
World famous professors participated in the forum: Thomas Lüscher, MD, FRCP – Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospitals, National Heart and Lung Institute, National Heart and Lung Institute, President Elected of European Society of Cardiology, Royal College London, Mayo Clinic; Hadi N. Skouri M.D Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine, Director Cardiac Care Unit. Heart Failure and Heart Transplantation. Feras Bader, MD, MS, FACC/- Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University, Vice Chairman, Department of Cardiovascular Medicine.
