#AHT: International Clinical Conference of Surgeons “Exceptional & Rare cases in Surgery”

On October 13-15, 2022, an International Clinical Conference of Surgeons “Exceptional & Rare cases in Surgery” will be held in Tbilisi. The main organizers of the event are: Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University (TSU), American Hospital Tbilisi (AHT), Georgian Gr. Association of Surgeons named after Mukhadze and Association of Doctors of Georgia. The International Clinical Conference of Surgeons, in which leading foreign specialists from 10 countries participate together with Georgian surgeons, is truly a great event in the life of the medical community in all respects, as it is an excellent opportunity for surgeons, specialists in related fields, and especially for residents, doctoral students aimed at qualification raising.

Within the framework of the conference there will also be a presentation of a unique book: “Exceptional and Rare Cases in Surgery”, which includes 115 exclusive cases from surgical practice and whose chief editor and presenter is Prof. Merab Kiladze.

The main theme of the conference is “Uncommon and Rare Cases in Surgery”, and plenary sessions will be held in the sections of general and minimally invasive surgery, surgical oncology, transplantation, interventional radiology and urology.

The opening ceremony of the conference will be held on October 13, 18:00-20:00 at Iv. Javakhishvili TSU, and the plenary sessions will be held on October 14-15, 10:00-18:00 at American Hospital Tbilisi.

Working language of the conference: Georgian, English

Delegates participating in the conference will be awarded 5 ECTC (European credits) and a Certificate.
