#AHT: Dr. Davit Zakradze at the International Hand and Wrist Congress

The International Hand and Wrist Congress was held on November 25-27 in the United Arab Emirates. Dr. Davit Zakradze, Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon of American Hospital Tbilisi Orthopedic Center, participated in the two-day congress held in Dubai. The international congress was chaired by Khalid Alawadi, MD, who is a plastic and hand surgeon and the head of the hand and microsurgery unit at Rashid Hospital, UAE.

The Scandinavian Society for Surgery of the hand was invited as a special guest at the international congress. Further, the scientific committee has put together an exciting program which over 3 days featured a series of keynote lectures, instructional courses, cadaveric workshops and case discussion sessions. Within the framework of International Hand and Wrist Congress, Davit Zakradze presented a free paper on: “Free Vascularized bone graft for nonunion of the scaphoid bone”.

The Dubai International Congress was attended by Hand and Wrist Surgeons, Orthopedic Surgeons, Plastic Surgeons, Trauma Surgeons, Sports Medicine Doctors, Emergency Medicine Doctors, Orthopedic Residents and Orthopedic Nurses from both the Middle East and the Gulf region.
