After graduating from the Tbilisi State Medical University, Dr. Mikheil Janjalia completed an internship at the Chachava Clinic with the qualification of a gynecologist, and then at the Tbilisi Oncology Center, he completed a post-graduate course in the specialty of a surgical oncology. After completing his post-graduate studies, he completed a special oncology course in the USA – cancer prevention and early diagnosis. In 2004, he was awarded the degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences at Yerevan State Medical University, and in 2005 – Doctor of Medicine at Tbilisi State University. In 2007-2008, he completed a special course in mammology at The Vienna General Hospital, Austria.  To date, he is a member of the Georgian Society of Oncologists and Oncogynecologists, as well as the European School of Oncology – ESO, the European Society of Medical Oncology – ESMO, the European Society of Gynecological Oncology – ESGO and the American Society of Clinical Oncology – ASCO.
